Phone Numbers

Phone Numbers in HRGP allow you to configure the phone numbers used for calling and texting candidates. Properly configured phone numbers ensure candidates can reach you and receive your messages.

Phone Number Types

Voice Numbers
For making and receiving calls

Voice numbers are used for phone calls with candidates. These can be used for phone screens, interviews, and follow-up calls.

SMS Numbers
For sending and receiving text messages

SMS numbers are used for text messaging with candidates. Text messages often have higher response rates than email for candidate communication.

Twilio Integration

HRGP uses Twilio to power phone calls and text messaging. To enable these features:

  1. 1Connect your Twilio account in Settings → Integrations
  2. 2Purchase or port phone numbers through Twilio
  3. 3Configure your phone numbers in HRGP
  4. 4Assign numbers to team members or use a shared number

Best Practices

  • Use local area codes when possible to increase answer rates
  • Register your numbers with carrier registries to avoid spam filtering
  • Keep your caller ID information accurate and professional
  • Test your numbers regularly to ensure they are working correctly
